Bravo Zulu hockey Academy began as a Dream in 2022, Master Warrant Officer Gerry Leblanc of the Canadian Armed Forces has been serving since 1987. As he transitions back to the civilian world Gerry Leblanc had an idea of bringing a quality educational and elite hockey experience to the heart of Petawawa.
Gerry Leblanc envisioned a hockey development program to Petawawa and the Ottawa Valley where all levels of hockey players can learn, develop skills and have fun. The Garrison of Petawawa offers all the facilities to train our future elite athletes on and off the ice.
Gerry Leblanc worked tirelessly for over 3 decades playing, coaching and refereeing the game of hockey. He has developed strong relationships with some of the best hockey players that the Canadian Armed Forces has produced. Bringing all these instructors under one organization will enhance our mission statement “Lead, Develop, and Promote Positive Hockey Experience”. The phrase BRAVO ZULU means well done!!!
